Anonymous executive: The Cavaliers should trade Garland for Monk and other chips. The combination of him and Mitchell is too short.

October 8, US media Roundtable reported that an anonymous NBA executive said when talking about the Cavaliers' lineup that the team should consider trading Garland and named the Kings as the potential next player, using Malik Monk as the core chip for exchange.
The executive said: "I think they need to trade Garland. His backcourt combination with Mitchell is too small. I like their trade of Langzo Ball. If I were Atkinson, I would have Lonzo, Mitchell, Hunter, Mobley and Allen start and trade Garland.
The Kings were interested in Garland before getting Schroeder. Maybe they could call and ask if they would trade Garland if they would trade Munk with some matching contracts."
