Breaking the largest transaction record in NBA history, the Rockets officially announced the 7-party deal between Durant and Capela! Durant officially joins Housing and will change to No. 7. After he and Capela join, Housing 14+2 grand formation will also be released.

7-party big deal broke the record

According to ESPN famous reporter Shams, the Rockets and the Suns' big deal around Durant broke the record. This is the first time that a seven-team trade has appeared in NBA history, breaking the 6-team trade record held by Clay before and setting the deal with the largest number of teams in the NBA.

Then seven teams including the Rockets and the Suns confirmed and officially announced that the record-breaking seven-party deal was reached.

The specific transaction content is as follows:

The Rockets get: Durant + Capela;

Suns: Jaylen Green, Dillon, Maluarch (No. 10th pick from the Rockets) + Fleming (No. 31th pick from the Timberwolves) + Kobe Breya (No. 41th pick from the Warriors) + Ploden + a second round pick;

Warriors: Tuxi (No. 52th pick from the Warriors) + Jamai Masak (No. 59th pick from the Rockets);

Lakers: A Du Tiero (No. 36th pick from the Nets);

Hawks: One second round swap + David Rody + cash;

Timberwolves: Zikarski (No. 45th pick from the Hawks) + 2 second rounds + cash;

Nets: 2 future second rounds.

Durant changed to wear No. 7

After the transaction was officially concluded, Durant's agent and business partner Ritchie Kleiman revealed in an interview that Durant will wear No. 7 jersey after joining the Rockets.

This is the number he wore when he was with the Nets and the U.S. National Team. Durant wore the No. 35 jersey when playing for the Thunder, the Warriors and the Suns.

It is worth mentioning that the Rockets' last No. 7 jersey player was Whitmore, who left the team not long ago through a trade.

Capela, who returned to Houston through the same transaction, will wear the No. 21 jersey.

As the first round pick selected by the Rockets with the No. 25 pick in 2014, Capela has played for the Rockets for 6 seasons and has been wearing the No. 15 jersey during this period.

Before Capela, the Rockets No. 21 jersey player was David Rody of the two-way contract, who was sent to the Hawks in the trade.

Suns pay tribute to the Rockets welcome

The Suns also posted a tribute to Durant as soon as the transaction was completed, and posted a picture to thank Durant: "Thank you, KD."

Durant played for the Suns for two and a half seasons, with a total of 145 games, averaging 26.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game.

As a former teammate and the future core of the Suns' team building, Booker also reposted the post and said goodbye to Durant as soon as possible.

Suns General Manager Gregory also posted a message to say goodbye and thank Durant, bluntly saying that Durant is one of the greatest players in NBA history and wish him all the best in Houston.

Durant also posted a message to respond immediately, thanking everyone in the Suns, including every staff member behind the scenes.

At the same time, he could not hide his excitement of joining the Rockets at the end of his speech, saying, "Houston, I can't wait!"

Then Rockets coach Uduka and general manager Stone also spoke out to welcome Durant. The former said that Durant and the Rockets' system are perfectly in line with each other, and the coaching staff can't wait for Durant to join.

Stone publicly praised Durant as a dominant player on both sides of the offense and defense, and also the most efficient scorer in history. He believed that he could quickly integrate into the team.
