Odds for the six major awards in the new season: Jokic leads MVP, and Yang Hansen s teammates become the hottest-progress hottest
On July 21, the odds for the six major prizes for the 2025-26 season have been released. In terms of regular season MVP, Jokic is in the lead. Yang Hansen tied for 8th in the Best Rookie Odds list, while his Trail Blazers teammate Affodyya is the number one favorite among the fastest-progressing players.
Regular season MVP odds
, Jokic +200, who has won three regular season MVPs, followed closely behind, and the two are the first echelons of MVP competition in the new season. Then there are Doncic (+650), Antetokounmpo (+800), Edwards (+1000), Vinbanyama (+1400), Cunningham (+2800), Brunson (+3300), Durant and Bankairo (all +5000).
ranked 11th and later are: Embiid (+6600), Mitchell, Davis, Jaylen Brown (+10000 both), Curry and Morant (+12500 both), Booker and James (+15000 both).
Best Rookie Odds
Frager (-225) is in a clear lead position, with Trey Johnson, Bailey and Harper (all +800) tied for second place. Then came the Tanhua Edgecom (+900), Fels and Knuper (all +2500). With his outstanding performance in the summer, Yang Hansen soared to 8th place, with Derek Quinn at +4,000. Deming, Yakujonis and Creighton Jr. are both +5000.
Best Defensive Player Odds
There are only 6 players on the list, and Wenban Yama (-175) is far ahead. After all, if Wenban had not been reimbursed in advance for the season last season and did not meet the 65-game rule, this award would definitely belong to him. Homgren (+800) ranked second. The winner of the 2024-25 season, Mobley (+900), ranked third. Others on the list include Amen Thompson (+1800), Daniels (+2200) and Davis (+3300).
The fastest-progress player odds
Yang Hansen's teammate Aff Dia (+800) is the number one hottest, but the lead is not obvious. Nembhard (+900) ranked second, Mathering (+1200) ranked third, Halliburton's season reimbursement made the two of them likely to skyrocket. Then came Kumingga (+1400), as well as Amen Thompson, Henderson, Sharp, Brandon Miller and Ivey, who were also +2000.
Best Sixth Man Odds
The best sixth man Prichard, last season, is still the leader in this award in the new season. His odds are +375, followed by Hunter (+750), Naz Reed (+1000), Bill (+1400), Dick, Jerome (+1600), Clarkson (+1800), Leville (+2000) and Portis (+2500).
Bill is considered a potential starter for the Clippers, but it is not ruled out that he will be the substitute in the future.
Best head coach odds
Magic coach Mosley (+350) is the most favorable. This year's offseason Magic introduced Bain, and the lineup strength has improved. Then came Hawks coach Snyder (+500), Nuggets coach David Adelman (+600) and Rockets coach Uduka (+700). These three teams are also teams that have obviously strengthened during the offseason.
Afterward are Spurs coach Mickey Johnson, Pistons coach Bickstaff, Knicks coach Brown, Lakers coach Redick and Timberwolves coach Finch.
