In this campaign, Lakers guard Reeves did not perform well. He made only 4 of 12 shots in 30 minutes, 0 of 5 three-pointers, 5 of 6 free throws, and scored 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. He had 5 turnovers and a plus-minus value of -24.
In an interview after the game, Reeves said: "Just think of this as an inspiration. They played to the standard that we aspire to reach. To put it bluntly, they beat the shit out of us tonight (Theybeat the shit out of us), but the season is still long. We feel that we can reach that level. It’s just that our performance tonight was far away, but we firmly believe that we can reach that height. We have the strength. We just need to work hard every day and strive to go further, thank you."
