Dick Barnett was a well-known NBA shooting guard in the 1960s, famous for his iconic "back jump shot" and accurate mid-range shooting.
He entered the league in 1959 and played for the Lakers, Knicks and other teams. He helped the Knicks win the championship twice in 1970 and 1973, averaged 16.8 points in his career and was selected as the All-Star twice. After retiring, Barnett devoted himself to basketball education and player rights advocacy, served as a university professor and participated in the work of the Knicks Retired Players Association. He is committed to promoting the social status of black athletes. His unique shooting posture has been talked about by fans so far, becoming a classic landscape in basketball history.
