The latest news of the Rockets chasing letters: I am willing to give Shen Jing + Xiao Jia + many first rounds. The Bucks may want Green more

On May 16, according to NBC Sports reporter Kurt Helin, league sources revealed that the Rockets are ready to include All-Star center Shin Kyung as Antetokounmpo's potential trading chips, and the Bucks may be more inclined to include Jaylen Green's trading plan. Forward Jabbarry Smith Jr. may be a necessary part of any offer, and the Rockets have multiple future first-round draft picks to serve as bargaining chips.

US media commented that the Rockets will obviously only send Shen Jing to players of Antetokounmpo - after all, almost all teams in the league will be willing to put any player on the shelves to get such stars. It is worth noting that although the Rockets regarded Amen Thompson as a "non-selling product" in the trading negotiations, Shin Kyung did not receive the same treatment.

From the perspective of lineup adaptability, it is reasonable for Shen Jing to be included in the quotation: the core combination of Amen, Antetokounmpo and Shen Jing currently has offensive space flaws - there is no reliable three-point shooter among the three.

Shin Kyung played 76 regular season games for the Rockets this season (average of 31.5 minutes), contributing 19.1 points, 10.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.1 steals, shooting percentage of 49.6% and free throw percentage of 69.2%. In the seven playoff games lost to the Golden State Warriors in the first round (36.6 minutes per game), the 22-year-old's statistics improved to 20.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.9 steals, shooting 45.0% from the field and 62.5% from free throws.

Shen Kyung signed a five-year, $185 million rookie max salary renewal contract with the Rockets in October last year, including player options for the 2029-30 season, which will officially take effect next season.
