Trainer: Curry mainly practices improving the speed of handling balls this summer, and he is stronger

Warriors defender Stephen Curry's personal trainer Brandon Payne recently interviewed NBA reporter Mark Medina, during which he talked about Curry's training this offseason.

"He mainly trained to improve the speed of handling the ball and make decisions faster, and we put in a huge effort on the side, avoiding any form of patterning. Let everything be real on the court reading and making decisions. Even with the shooting, there are a lot of reactive shots, which is very, very difficult for most players. But Curry made it easy, so that's a point for us this summer - keep improving the speed of reaction and performing better," Brandon Payne said.

"Curry's first step and explosive power are unprecedentedly fast, and now it's even faster. But as he gets older, all he can do is continue to increase the speed of handling the ball and make decisions faster to make up for the loss rate gap in his body. I think Curry is still at his peak and he's improving his decision-making speed on the court," said Brandon Payne.

When talking about the topic that many people think Curry is stronger this offseason, Brandon Payne said: "Yes, Stephen is really stronger. Carl Bergstrom is great in terms of making sure he is not only strong but healthy. Stephen is still going strong now, and it's fun to see fans always talking about this topic."
