Rockets 4 for 2, win the Celtics superstar? Famous reporters give a trading plan! Houston aims at the championship

Basketball

The Houston Rockets now need a superstar to lead the team, and the Boston Celtics won the championship last season, but their capacities have been overwhelming for management. So the Celtics management has already spoken that no matter how the team's record this season, they will clear their salary space in the offseason this summer and strive to reduce luxury taxes.

Currently, the Celtics have many star players, including two superstars Tatum and Jaylen Brown, as well as star players such as Derek White, Ju Holiday, Porzingis, Horford, and Pritchard. These star players come together to really put the Celtics’ strength at the top level in the league. But the pressure on cap space has been plaguing the Celtics, and they have just won a championship trophy, so clearing the lineup space and reducing the salary level have become the main targets of the Celtics this summer. The demands of the Rockets and Celtics seem to match. The Rockets have many young players with rookie contracts. Their salary space is more reasonable and they also need a superstar to lead the team. If the Celtics can communicate with the Rockets and trade, it seems to be a win-win choice.

Celtics fans and a famous NBA reporter Bill Simmons gave advice on the trade between the two teams in a show. In his opinion, the Celtics should send out main defender Ju Holiday and star forward Jaylen Brown to go to the Rockets to exchange for main point guard Van Vreet and two young forwards Tari Ethan and Jabbarri Smith Jr., plus the Rockets' No. 10 draft pick this summer.

In this way, the Celtics have gained two younger strikers, a main point guard, and a first-round No. 10 pick to serve next season. Although Jaylen Brown and veteran Ju Holiday who were given the maximum salary seemed to have reduced the Celtics' combat power, they gained a future. After all, Smith and Ethan are both in their early 20s, and the talents and abilities of the two of them are really undeniable.

Van Vliott is now only 31 years old and his contract faces team options. If the Celtics can convince Van Vreet to re-sign a shorter long-term contract, I believe Van Vreet will agree. Therefore, this deal seems to be beneficial to both teams, especially for the Rockets, which directly solves the problem of point guards' poor offense and defense, and also solves the problem of no superstar leading the team.

If this deal is complete, the Rockets' starting lineup will be quite strong next season, and their overall strength will be expected to reach the championship. The Rockets' expected starting lineup next season will be Jou Holiday, Jaylen Green, Dillon Brooks, Jaylen Brown and Shinkin; the substitutes will include Shebbod, Aaron Holiday, Whitmore, Adams and Amen Thompson. This lineup has strong strength, whether it is a starting player or a substitute. As long as this lineup does not have frequent injuries, I believe they will become one of the strong contenders of the championship.

But the problem is that the salaries of the two teams do not match in this trading plan. The Rockets probably need to add a few more additional salary space to complete this simulated transaction.
