Teague: Anytime you talk about James, his team will call you
In a recent episode of the "Club 520 Podcast", former NBA player Jeff Teague revealed on the show that if he said anything about LeBron, he would receive a call from his camp.
"Any time you say anything about LeBron, someone's going to call you and say, 'Hey, man, you might have to tone it down. You've got some funny stories and stuff like that, stay away from LeBron.'"
"So I know they're not going to let anything go. Their whole camp, they run this league," Teague said.
Back in June, Teague joked about LeBron on his podcast, saying he used steroids during his four seasons with the Miami Heat.
Klutch Sports did not contact him. According to Teague, his father contacted him and asked him to take back what he said to LeBron James.
"No one called me. It was my dad who said, 'Hey, why did you say that?' I said, 'What did you say?' I said... they misunderstood me, so I was like, 'I need to take that back.' Because he said, 'We know you were joking, but the world thinks LeBron might actually be doing that.' I said, I don't know LeBron. I've never talked to LeBron. He's only said 'hello' to me twice in his life," Teague said.
