The NBA officially announced best lineup: Alexander and four others voted unanimously, James Curry played the second team, Harden played the third team

On May 24, the NBA officially announced the 2024-25 season's Best Team of the Year. Those selected for the first team include Jokic, Alexander, Antetokounmpo, Tatum and Mitchell; those selected for the second team include Edwards, James, Curry, Mobley, and Brunson, and those selected for the third team include Cunningham, Towns, Harden, Halliburton and Jaylen Williams.

As last year, the selected players of this season's All-Squad must meet the requirements of playing at least 65 regular season games. The Thunder swept the Grizzlies 4-0 in the first round, eliminated the Nuggets 4-3 in the second round, and currently leads the Timberwolves 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals. This is the third time Alexander has been selected for the Best Team in his career, and it is also the first team selected for the Best Team for three consecutive years.

Jokic played 70 games in the regular season this season, averaging 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game, leading the Nuggets to achieve a record of 50 wins and 32 losses. Jokic averaged 26.2 points, 12.7 rebounds and 8 assists in the playoffs. The Nuggets defeated the Clippers 4-3 in the first round and were eliminated by the Thunder 4-3 in the second round. Jokic ranked second in the regular season MVP voting this season. This is the 7th time Jokic has been selected for the All-A-Series team and the fifth time he has been selected for the All-A-Series team.

Antetokounmpo played 67 games in the regular season this season, averaging 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game, leading the Bucks to a record of 48 wins and 34 losses. Antetokounmpo averaged 33 points, 15.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists in the playoffs, and the Bucks were eliminated by the Pacers 1-4 in the first round. This is the 9th time Antetokounmpo has been selected for the Best Team in his career, and the 7th consecutive time it has been selected for the Best Team.

Tatum played 72 games in the regular season this season, averaging 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6 assists per game, leading the Celtics to a record of 61 wins and 21 losses. Tatum averaged 28.1 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game in the playoffs. The Celtics defeated the Magic 4-1 in the first round and were eliminated by the Knicks 2-4 in the second round. Tatum suffered a serious injury from a ruptured Achilles tendon in the playoffs and is expected to be unable to play next season. This is the fifth time Tatum has been selected for the Best Team in his career and the fourth consecutive time he has been selected for the Best Team.

Mitchell played 71 games in the regular season this season, averaging 24 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5 assists per game, leading the Cavaliers to a record of 64 wins and 18 losses. Mitchell averaged 29.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game in the playoffs. The Cavaliers swept the Heat 4-0 in the first round and were eliminated by the Pacers 1-4 in the second round. This is the second time Mitchell has been selected for the All-A-Series team in his career and the first time he has been selected for the All-A-Series team. James, who was selected for the second team, averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game in the regular season this season, helping the Lakers achieve a record of 50 wins and 32 losses. In the first round of the playoffs, the Lakers were eliminated by the Timberwolves 1-4, and James averaged 25.4 points, 9 rebounds, 5.6 assists per game. This is the 22nd season of James's career. In his 22-year career, James has been selected for the Best Team 21 times, and has been selected for 21 consecutive years, and the number of times continues to rank first in history.
