On September 4, German transfers have counted the record of single-season recruitment expenditure for Premier League teams. This summer, a total of 9 teams have broken their own single-season transfer expenditure record.

Arsenal, Bournemouth, Brentford, Burnley, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland have set historical records of the cost of signings for their respective teams in a single season.
