Bornemouth Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Petrovic from Chelsea.
The Serbian goalkeeper signed a five-year contract with the Cherry Corps and will join the team immediately to prepare for the club's upcoming U.S. preseason tour.
Petrovic has a record 23 Premier League appearances and performed well during his loan to Ligue 1 Strasbourg in 2024/25.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper helped the team finish seventh in Ligue 1 and ensured the UEFA European Association League qualification, so he was named the club's Player of the Year and was nominated for the Ligue 1 goalkeeper of the year.
Petrovic is 25 years old and Serbian goalkeeper. He joined Chelsea from the New England Revolution in 2023 for a transfer fee of 16 million euros, and the player was loaned to Strasbourg last season. Currently, Petrovic's German turnover price is 20 million euros.
