Tottenham executive chairman Daniel Levi officially leaves office for 25 years
Club confirmed that Daniel Levi officially left office today after serving as Tottenham executive chairman for 25 years.
Torttenham Hotspur has undergone a huge transformation over the past quarter of a century. The team has participated in European competitions in 18 seasons in the past 20 seasons, gradually becoming one of the most well-known football clubs in the world, and continues to invest in youth training, players and hardware facilities, including the construction of a brand new world-class stadium and advanced training center. The club has also competed in high-level events many times and has achieved a series of brilliant achievements, including the recent UEFA Cup championship.
As part of the succession plan, the club has made several senior appointments over the past few months: Vinay Vankatschian as CEO, Thomas Frank as the new head coach of the men's team, and Martin Ho as the head coach of the women's team. Peter Charlington joins the board and will serve as the newly established non-executive chair.
All of this is an important part of the club's vision of achieving its long-term sports success.
Daniel Levi said: "I am extremely proud of the work I have done with the management team and all of my staff. We have made this club a world-class force that competes at the highest level and, more importantly, we have built a community-like connection. I have had the honor of working with the best people in the sport, from White Lily House and Tottenham Avenue to the players and coaches over the years.
I want to thank all the fans who have supported me over the years. It has not been an easy journey, but we have indeed made significant progress. I will continue to support this club with enthusiasm."
"I am honored to be the non-executive chairman of this extraordinary club. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Daniel and his family for their hard work and persistence for the club for many years.
This is a new era of leadership for the club, both on and off the court. I also realize that we have experienced many changes in the past few months to lay a new foundation for the future. Our focus now is to maintain stability and empower all the talented talents in the club, led by Vinay and his management team." The ownership and shareholder structure of the club remain unchanged.
