Rockets new season schedule: Opening game against the defending champion, 28 games in the United States, Christmas game vs. Lakers
August 15th News Today, the NBA officially announced the full schedule of the new season. The Rockets have 22 away games in the first 34 games of the new season, but 14 of the last 22 games of the season are played at home.
In addition, the Rockets have 28 live broadcasts throughout the season, tied for the second most in the league with the Timberwolves.
The Rockets' new season regular season opening match is against the Thunder on October 22, and Durant will return to Phoenix as a Rockets player in Beijing on November 25. Jaylen Green and Dillon Brooks will return to Houston on December 6. The Rockets will also face the first Christmas game since 2019, with the opponent being the Lakers.
