On November 10, official news from the Chinese Women’s Football Team revealed that the draw results for the 2026 U20 Women’s Asian Cup were released: the Chinese U20 Women’s Football Team was assigned to Group A, and the same group will face Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh. The competition will be held in Thailand from April 1 to 18, 2026.

Lottery results:

Group A: Thailand (host), China, Vietnam, Bangladesh.

Group B: North Korea, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Jordan.

Group C: Japan, Australia, Chinese Taipei, India.

According to the rules of the competition, the top two teams in the group and the two third-place teams with the best results qualify. If the Chinese team wins the first place in the group, it will face the third place in Group B or Group C in the knockout round. It can basically avoid strong teams such as Japan, South Korea, Australia, and North Korea.

In the previous qualifying stage, the Chinese U20 women's football team defeated Syria 6-0, Cambodia 7-0 and Lebanon 8-0, advancing to the top of the group.
