Arsenal and Brentford reach transfer fee agreement to sign midfielder Christian Norgaard
Arsenal agreed to sign Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard for £10m plus surcharge; a source said that if all surcharges are met, the surcharge is £5m, bringing the total transaction volume to £15m; the Brentford captain wants to transfer to the Gunners, and the personal terms are not expected to be a problem
Arsenal has agreed to sign Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard for £10m plus surcharge. A source told Sky Sports News that if all of these surcharges are met, these surcharges will reach £5m, making the total value of the transaction possible to reach £15m.

To sign the 31-year-old Captain Bee, there is some further work to do, but it all points to the conclusions in the coming days. The Danish international is looking to move to Emirates Stadium, and personal terms are not expected to become a problem. The Gunners' interest in the Brentford captain comes as Thomas Parthie's contract with Arsenal is about to expire. Mikel Arteta's team has acted quickly after it has been unable to reach a deal on Patelle's new contract so far.
For now, the Ghana international will leave the Gunners when their contract expires next week. The 32-year-old’s representative has been contacted by clubs in Saudi Arabia and Europe. Arsenal has not signed this summer, but goalkeeper Kepa will give the final touches on the £5 million transfer from Chelsea to the Gunners this week. The North London team is also close to reaching a £51m deal to sign midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.

Norgard may transfer to Arsenal, which will end his six-year career at Brentford. He joined West London from Italian side Fiorentina in May 2019 and became a key player in Brentford's promotion to the Premier League.
Norgard has a huge influence under Bee coach Thomas Frank, who left earlier this month and became the new Tottenham Hotspur head coach after an impressive seven years in Brentford. Norgard has made 196 appearances for Brentford in various events and scored 13 goals.

Brentford can now see their captain follow their head coach out of the door, and their star players can follow Brian Mbemo. United bids Mbemo for more than £60m, and he is also a Tottenham Hotspur target. Brentford spoke with many well-known coaches from all over Europe, but they chose people who know the club and its systems, who believe Andrews can be a top head coach who joined last year as Frank’s assistant coach.
