According to the news on May 3, according to the media "Milan Sports" report, the Lausanne Sports Arbitration Tribunal made a ruling that Inter Milan did not need to pay any fees to Portugal Sports for Mario's transfer.

Mario transferred to Inter Milan from Portugal Sports in 2016. The contract stipulates that if Mario transfers to the Portuguese Super League club in the future, Inter Milan will have to pay 30 million euros to Portugal Sports. In the summer of 2021, Mario terminated the contract with Inter Milan and then signed Benfica as a free agent. Portugal Sports believes that Inter Milan violated the terms of the contract and needs to pay compensation.
