Manchester City: Manchester City is allowed not to train the day before the Champions League game, but submits Monday training video for media use

Manchester City reported on November 4 that Manchester City and UEFA have reached an agreement that there will be no training the day before the Champions League game.
Manchester City have reached an "alternative arrangement" with UEFA that allows them not to train the day before their Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund. After watching the team's Premier League match against Bournemouth on Monday, Guardiola decided to give his players a day off on Tuesday to better prepare for Wednesday's game against Borussia Dortmund.
This decision affects UEFA’s expectations for the Champions League. According to the "Media Matters" section, each club "must be open to the media for at least 15 minutes during training the day before a match" as part of a service provided to broadcast rights holders, for which they pay UEFA.
It is understood that as one of the conditions for not training on Tuesday, Manchester City has submitted a 15-minute video clip of Monday's training to UEFA for broadcasters to use. The arrangement was accepted as an "alternative", allowing City players to have a day off while avoiding any sanctions from UEFA. Guardiola and one player will still carry out media duties and attend a press conference on Tuesday.
At the press conference, the Manchester City manager will no doubt be asked about the reasons for not training, as well as any relevant updates on Sunday's game. The team trained and recovered at the Manchester City Football Academy on Monday, as is their usual routine following the game against Bournemouth. As usual, players who did not start the game underwent more intensive training.
Manchester City hopes to win the two home games before and after the international break this month in order to enter the top eight and directly advance to the top 16. They face Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday and Bayer Leverkusen later this month.
Captain B said after last month's win over Villarreal: "We hope to advance to the top eight. We know the importance of avoiding those two extra games."
