June 19, The Telegraph exclusively reported that Chelsea striker Muderick was accused by the FA for violating the doping regulations and faces a long ban.

Mudrik could be banned for up to four years after a sample A, believed to contain a substance called banned from improving the performance, tested positive for last year.

He was temporarily suspended while Muderick and Chelsea awaited the B sample results and the FA has now confirmed that he has been charged.

A FA spokesperson told the Daily Telegraph: "We can confirm that Mihailo Muderick is charged for alleged violations of Articles 3 and 4 of the FA Anti-Doping Ordinance, namely the presence and/or use of banned substances. Since this is an ongoing case, we cannot comment further at this time."

Under the FA's regulations, the potential penalty for positive doping is a four-year ban. Muderick hired Morgan Sports Law to handle his case, and Chelsea also provided support.

Morgan Sports Law Office previously appealed for his four-year doping ban on behalf of former Juventus star Pogba, and later the Sports Arbitration Court reduced the ban to 18 months.
