Hupu November 12 According to exclusive news from the English media "The Guardian", La Liga giant Barcelona has regarded Bayern forward Kane as the first choice to strengthen the center position next summer.

It is reported that Barcelona has listed Harry Kane as its top target to replace Lewandowski next summer. The Spanish giants believe that the 32-year-old England captain is the ideal young candidate to replace the 37-year-old Lewandowski (whose contract expires in June), and has planned to activate the release clause in Kane's contract with Bayern Munich - the transfer can be completed this summer for £57 million.

Since his £100 million move from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023, Kane has achieved great success at Bayern, scoring 108 goals in 113 games, and last September became the fastest player to score 100 goals for a single club in the five major European leagues this century. In May of this year, he played a key role in Bayern regaining the Bundesliga championship, ending his career drought.

Kane expressed his willingness to stay at Bayern after his contract expires in June 2027 last month. However, the prospect of joining another of the world's top clubs and competing for more important honours, could prompt a switch to Camp Nou. It is worth mentioning that Barcelona already has England international Rashford in the team. The striker's contract on loan from Manchester United contains a buyout clause of 30 million pounds.

In addition, Barcelona President Laporta also ruled out the possibility of the return of Argentine legend Messi. The Argentine's visit to Camp Nou this week sparked speculation about a return, but Laporta made it clear to Catalan Radio: "Out of respect for Messi, current players and members, now is not the time to hype up with unrealistic scripts."
