On October 7, "Turin Sports News" wrote an article talking about Juventus' problems this season.

Turin Sports News wrote: Juventus has exposed many problems, including some flaws in the lineup structure and an overall lack of balance. Despite this, the team is currently just three points off the top of the table, remains in the Champions League qualification zone and is yet to lose. So this is not a project that needs to be dismissed, although adjustments do need to be made. The team still has time and room to improve, after all, this is a transitional season.

What is worthy of recognition is that the team's attitude is more mature than last season. This factor may not be so obvious, but it does play a role in the results: Juventus always remains competitive in the games, even if it is difficult due to imbalance (such as against Inter Milan and Dortmund), it still has the ability to react and fight until the last moment. This mature attitude is worth cultivating, not just to help the team in difficult moments, but throughout the entire 90 minutes and in various game situations.

For example, Juventus always enters the game very proactively at the beginning (perhaps last week's game against Milan was the only exception), showing a strong desire to win, which has almost disappeared in the past period of time. Still, the job is far from finished: an overeager attack often left Juve off-balance, the defense was woeful, and there's still plenty to improve.

Juventus is heading in the right direction

But the direction is still right: Juventus, especially in the European arena, must fight to win. That kind of tactical aggression is positive, and it only needs to rediscover the balance through better positioning training, player role allocation and anticipatory defense.

Regarding the lineup issue, there have been many comments from the outside world, but it is worth emphasizing again: the team still lacks a midfielder with organizational and technical capabilities, and there is also an obvious shortage of manpower on the wing.

Therefore, it is worth looking forward to making moves in the winter transfer window, especially for the midfielder. The decision to change formations should also be carefully considered.

Although the currently used 3-4-2-1 is tactically attractive, without qualified wide players, this system is as lacking in foundation as making bacon and egg sauce spaghetti without eggs. Changing to 4-3-2-1 may make better use of existing players and cover up some obvious flaws.
