Leon Powe was born in Oakland, California, USA in January 1984. He is 6-foot-8 inches (203 cm) tall and plays as the No. 4 (PF Power Forward). In the 2006 NBA Draft, he was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the second round with the 19th pick (49th pick in total) and was immediately traded to the Boston Celtics, starting his NBA career.
