Manchester United is about to sign Chelsea s meritorious youth training dean, Frazier, who has been in charge for more than 20 years

According to an exclusive report by Alan Nixon, a famous Sun reporter, Manchester United executives are preparing to sign "genius digger" Jim Fraser - who has left Chelsea before.

Fraser served at Stamford Bridge for 20 years until he was fired last year.

Now that his "horticulture vacation" is about to end, he seems to be joining Manchester United. Manchester United is laying off about 200 people behind the scenes and will also fire several scouts.

But Sir Jim Ratcliff, the team's minority shareholder, believes that Fraser is the key to their plan to sign the top young players in the future.

He served as the dean of Chelsea Youth Training Academy and enjoyed a high reputation for discovering top young stars.

While playing for the Blues, he helped the team discover players such as Mason Mount, Connor Gallagher, Rees James and Tammy Abraham.

Other outstanding players include Mark Gerch, Levi Colville and Dominic Solank.

This is in line with Ratcliff's philosophy of discovering talents at Manchester United, rather than spending huge sums of money to sign high-risk big-name players. Manchester United's personnel restructuring has begun, and leading figures such as football operations director David Harrison have resigned one after another.

The management responsible for cutting costs conducted a team-wide assessment, including a senior scouting expedition, and many negotiated with HR to learn about their future. The one-month layoff process ended a few weeks ago, but the final layoff results were not intended to be revealed at such a critical moment.
