Mascherano: Paris may be the best team in the world I am proud of the players performance

June 30th Paris beat Miami International 4-0 in the round of 16 of the Club World Cup. Coach Mascherano was interviewed and thoughts as soon as possible after the game.

He said bluntly: "The gap between the two teams is obvious, but I am extremely proud of the players' efforts throughout the tournament."

Faced with an opponent who is far stronger than the American League team, he said: "The difference is that we try to show our abilities in every game, but the objective gap does exist. I am especially proud of the players' fighting spirit."

Looking forward to the rest of the season, Mascherano claimed: "The key is to convey the belief that when all the players work together, we can participate in the competition. If there is any sport that can surpass the gap in strength and give competition possibilities, it is football."
